Musical Extravaganza
Touring Nashville, Pigeon Forge, Memphis and Branson
DAY 1: Toronto to Cincinnati, Ohio
Join our motor coach this morning as we
depart our area and travel to the border
where we cross into the United States. Our
destination this evening will be Cincinnati,
Ohio.
DAY 2: Pigeon Forge, Tennessee
We cross the Bluegrass state of Kentucky
with its opulent horse farms on our way
to Tennessee. This afternoon we arrive
in the area where Dolly Parton spent her
childhood, Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Great
shows and beautiful scenery abound
through-out this area, with the Smoky
Mountains as the back drop. Tonight we
attend the Black Bear Jamboree. (B,D)
DAY 3: Nashville, Tennessee
This morning we enjoy Dollywood, a theme
park featuring shows, displays and shops.
Approximately mid-afternoon we travel to
Nashville, and check into the hotel on Music
Valley Drive for two nights. (B)
DAY 4: Nashville, Tennessee
This morning a city tour of Music City
U.S.A., allows us to learn about the city that
has attracted thousands seeking fame in the
Country Music Industry. In the afternoon
we visit the famous Country Music Hall
of Fame, which opened their brand new
home in 2002. This beautiful building is an
incredible tribute to the history of Country
Music. This evening enjoy the Grand Ole
Opry Show. (B)
DAY 5: Memphis, Tennessee
A casual morning including breakfast, before
our departure from Nashville. We will travel
southwest past Hurricane Mills then on to
Memphis, Tennessee, a city with a reputation
for music. It was on Beale Street that music
legend W.C. Handy created “the Blues”, an
original American art form which was a blend
of mournful ballads sung by slaves and the
Dixieland jazz of New Orleans. Upon arrival

there will be a city tour including a visit to
the Peabody Hotel to witness the famous
Duck March. Then we visit Graceland
mansion, the home of the late Elvis Presley,
the “King of Rock and Roll”. Our tour will
show us several of the rooms in Graceland
mansion, the racquetball building, the trophy
room which houses Elvis’ many awards, gold
records, jewelry and personal momentos. (B)
DAY 6 to 8: Branson, Missouri
Our journey today takes us past Little Rock,
Arkansas enroute to Branson, America’s
hottest entertainment destination, where
we spend the next three nights. These
days will be filled with excitement as we
enjoy Branson and the Ozark Mountain
area. We have included admission to three
music shows during our stay, and have also
allowed you free time to see more of your
favourite entertainers on your own. The
three included shows in Branson will be the
Mickey Gilley Show, a terrific performer
with 17 #1 Country Hits to his crediy; the
Doug Gabriel Show, seven time Male
Vocalist of the Year and the Shoji Tabuchi
Show, Branson’s Number 1 show! We’ll
also enjoy Ozark Mountain Country “Duck
Style”. Ride the Ducks offers an entirely
different approach to sightseeing as we
travel on water and land. A farewell to
Branson Dinner is included. (B,D)
DAY 9: Indianapolis, Indiana
Too soon we must leave the music and
shows behind as we travel northeast via
St. Louis, Missouri. Our destination this
evening is Indianapolis, Indiana. (B)
DAY 10: Home
Following our included breakfast we
continue north to Detroit. A stop at the
duty-free store before returning back to
Ontario with an evening arrival at your
joining point. We hope you have enjoyed
your tour to some of America’s best loved
musical cities. (B)
