Fabulous Mackinac Island
Mother Nature’s Northern Michigan Playground
DAY 1: Toronto to Frankenmuth
From our many southern Ontario joining
points, we gather together and cross the
border at Sarnia/Port Huron. We arrive in
Frankenmuth in the early afternoon, with
plenty of time to enjoy Bronner’s Christmas
World, Outlet Shopping or simply take in
the charming atmosphere of downtown
Frankenmuth. This evening we gather as a
group for a famous Frankenmuth Chicken
Dinner. (D)
DAY 2: Mackinac Island
A casual morning breakfast before we make
our way north and arrive in Mackinaw City
in the early afternoon. Shepler’s Ferry takes
us to Mackinac Island, and our arrival at
the beautifully historic Island House Hotel,
where we stay for 3 relaxing nights. (B)
DAY 3: Mackinac Island
A full breakfast buffet is included each
morning, then we enjoy a locally guided
carriage tour of the Island. This afternoon is
free for you to enjoy the quaint shops, tour
the old fort or simply relax on the Island
House’s marvelous front porch. These tours
will showcase the fall colours bursting
forth on the Island, and through-out all of
northern Michigan. (B)

DAY 4: Exploring the Upper Peninsula
This morning we board the ferry and return
to St. Ignace. We enjoy a casual drive
through portions of Michigan’s Upper
Peninsula, as we make our way to Sault
Ste. Marie. Here we will board a cruise and
learn of the importance of the Locks as a
transportation route between Lakes Huron
& Superior. Then we enjoy a lunch on the
waterfront at Sault Ste. Marie. We return to
Mackinac Island in the afternoon. (B,L)
DAY 5: Home
All too soon we must leave beautiful
Mackinac Island for the final time. Shepler’s
Ferry takes us to St. Ignace and we board
the motor coach for our return trip home.

Chicago Getaway
Great attractions, great food, great stories - Chicago has it all!
DAY 1: Toronto to Chicago, Illinois
From our joining points in Southwestern
Ontario, we travel across the border at
Windsor or Sarnia and travel to the great
city of Chicago, for a fun weekend!!
DAY 2: Chicago
Breakfast at your leisure this morning,
before a local guide shows the many
aspects to this great city. From it’s colourful
characters like Al Capone, to its tragedies
like the great fire, there is something
different in every block. This afternoon is
free for you to enjoy time at the Navy Pier or
visit one of the many museums. Your Tour
Director will have all the details. (B)
DAY 3: Chicago
A casual morning with some free time or
options from your Tour Director, such as the
Shedd Aquarium or a visit to the Board of
Trade. You could also consider a stroll down
the Magnificent Mile shopping district.

This evening we are pleased to include
a fabulous Dinner, followed by a sunset

All too soon our terrific Chicago weekend
comes to an end, as we board the motor
coach and make our way homeward. A stop
at duty free before returning to our joining
