Calgary
From your local city, board the Westjet flight
to Calgary. Upon arrival a shuttle will take us
to a hotel, located to the light rail transit, so
you can enjoy the Stampede on your own.
Here you will meet your Tour Director who
will explain the next few days activities. A
two day pass to the Stampede is included in
your package, and tonight, we’ll take in the
Calgary Stampede Chuckwagon races and
Evening Grandstand show.
DAY 2: Calgary, Alberta
This morning we’ll take a short city tour and
then head to the famous Alberta Badlands
where you will see how dramatically the
landscape changes as you descend into the
Valley of the Dinosaurs. You’ll have a chance
to visit the famous Royal Tyrell Museum
and tour the interesting little towns in the
valley. Tonight, we’ll take short jaunt over

of Turner Valley and Black Diamond. Black

From here, we head further into the high
country foothills. Reaching the Bar U Ranch
National Historic Site you’ll see an authentic
large scale ranch operation of the late
1800’s. Then we continue south along this
scenic corridor and then head west to see

many rare species. We’ll take a cruise along
the shoreline of Waterton Lake and tour
up to Red Rock Canyon and Cameron Lake
before returning to the city of Lethbridge for
the night. (B)
