All the best of Atlantic Canada
DAY 1: Fly to Toronto, Ontario
From your local airport, you will fly to
Toronto today, with Westjet airlines. Upon
arrival, we have arranged an overnight
stay at the new Toronto Airport Sandman
Hotel, and so the shuttle will pick you up at
Pearson Airport and take you to the hotel.
DAY 2: Toronto to Ottawa
Join us this morning for a pleasant drive
through eastern Ontario, to Canada’s
Capital city, Ottawa. A guided tour,
before settling into our downtown
accommodations for overnight.
DAY 3: Quebec City
Today we cross the Ottawa River and enter
the province of Quebec. We visit a Sugar
Shack in Trois Rivieres for a look at the
Maple Syrup industry and a traditional
Lumberjack’s Lunch. In the afternoon we
continue the short distance into Quebec
City and enjoy a locally guided tour. (B,L)
DAY 4: Woodstock
This morning we cross to the south shore of
the St. Lawrence River, on our way to New
Brunswick. Tonight we will be in the city of
Woodstock. (B)
DAY 5: Moncton
A step back in time this morning, as we visit
Kings Landing Historical Settlement, which
lets us take a closer look at life during the
early days of Canada. There will be time
to enjoy New Brunswick’s capital city of
Fredericton, before arriving in the city of
Moncton for overnight. Take a stroll along
the shores of the Peticodiac River and
view the unique phenomenon of the Tidal
Bore, which is rolling waves of water going
backwards up the river. (B)
Quality Tours You Deserve
DAY 6: Halifax
A short drive this morning brings us to the
shores of the Bay of Fundy, at Hopewell
Cape. Here the highest tides anywhere in
the world have been recorded. Massive
“flower pot rocks” stand as a testament
to this amazing wonder of the world,
during low tide. In the afternoon we drive
to Halifax, taking time to stop at the Anne
Murray Centre. We will be in Halifax 2
nights. (B)
DAY 7: Halifax
A great way to start the morning, is
breakfast at Peggy’s Cove. Then back to
the city for a guided city tour, followed by
a free afternoon to enjoy the terrific Halifax
waterfront. (B)
