New Orleans Back to the Bayou
Southern Plantations, the French Quarter
and the Mighty Mississippi
DAY 1: Fly to Toronto, Ontario
From your local airport, you will fly to
Toronto today, with Westjet airlines. Upon
arrival, we have arranged an overnight
stay at the new Toronto Airport Sandman
Hotel, and so the shuttle will pick you up at
Pearson Airport and take you to the hotel.
DAY 2: Cincinnati, OH
Come and join our motor coach this
morning as we depart our area and travel to
the border where we cross into the United
States, enroute to our destination this
evening in Cincinnati, Ohio.
DAY 3: Birmingham, AL
Making our way down through the Blue
Grass State of Kentucky and into Tennessee
we will be arriving into the warmer
temperatures of Birmingham, Alabama for
this evening. (B)
DAY 4: New Orleans, LA
Arriving at our hotel in this incredible city of
New Orleans, you have some time to freshen
up and catch your breath. To celebrate our
arrival in New Orleans, dinner this evening
as a group will be a perfect way to start off
our southern experience. (B,D)
DAY 5: New Orleans, LA
This morning following breakfast at your
hotel, you will be enjoying a guided city
tour of this extraordinary area, known as
“The Birthplace of Jazz”! This afternoon we
board a Mississippi Steamboat for a cruise
up the mighty Mississippi River, followed
by time to explore the city on your own.
Take in the Riverwalk Market Place, with
over 140 specialty shops, enjoy lunch at
Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. or Jimmy Buffett’s
– Margaritaville. Here’s your chance to
experience a French Quarter Walking
Tour, Jackson Square or a visit to St. Louis
Cathedral. (B)

DAY 6: New Orleans, LA
Following breakfast at your hotel, your
day will start off with a historical tour of
a true “southern plantation” at the Oak
Alley Plantation. A Southern Style lunch
will be included in your day, before our
afternoon adventure, aboard a Swamp Tour,
to experience the wildlife of Cane River.
Returning to New Orleans late afternoon, the
evening will be free to explore the city, go
out for dinner, or just sit back and relax. (B,L)
DAY 7: Baton Rouge, LA
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel, as this
morning we are going to make our way
to Baton Rouge. Together, we will enjoy a
mid-morning stop at the “Cajun Village”,
here you will have time to walk through a
collection of restored Acadian buildings
housing unique shops and galleries
featuring original Louisiana artists and
products, the Coffee House and alligator
pond. Upon arrival in Baton Rouge you will
enjoy a guided city tour of the area, after
you will arrive at your hotel and have time
to freshen up before we depart for one of
Louisiana’s most favourite Dinner locations,
where Cajun Music and old Southern Style
Dining is an “Experience”. (B,D)
DAY 8: Memphis, TN
After breakfast in our hotel, we will be
departing this incredible southern area of
Louisiana, travelling north to Memphis.
Upon your arrival, you will have time
to enjoy a visit to “Elvis’s – Graceland
Mansion”, which is always a popular stop
when visiting Memphis. (B)
DAY 9: Indianapolis, IN
Departing for Indianapolis after breakfast
this morning, we will find ourselves easing
our way back in the northern part of the
States, enroute back to Ontario. A farewell
Dinner is included this evening. (B,D)

DAY 10: Toronto, ON
Breakfast in your hotel this morning will
start our day off, as we prepare to make our
way back to the border, stopping at Duty
Free before crossing and then we return
to our the new Toronto Airport Sandman
Hotel. (B)
DAY 11: Home
Today the hotel shuttle will transfer you
back to Pearson Airport for your return flight
to your departure city.
